Stork Aerospace supplies aircraft landing gears to leading European and American aircraft builders in the civil, business, and defense sectors.

In the area of landing gear systems, Stork Aerospace continues to build on the knowledge and expertise that have been built up over the years by DAF and Fokker

For our customers, what distinguishes us most of all is the fact that we can handle complex projects. This is because we possess know-how of the aircraft as a whole, and not just of its component parts.

Landing systems are a core area of attention for the Stork Aerospace Group and our activities have been centered within:

Stork SP Aerospace
Stork SP Aerospace is specialized in landing gear and landing gear related components. The Company was founded in the early 1960s as a special division of truck builder DAF. In september 2004, our company was incorporated in the Stork Aerospace group. Our core competence is the design and production of landing gears, in which we have over 30 years of experience. In addition we produce a variety of hydro-mechanical assemblies such as actuators and transmissions. We recognize the aviation industry's requirements for safe, light, durable and cost-efficient systems that have to perform under the most extreme of conditions and on the highest safety level. Our highly educated workforce, including 40 engineers and 80 mechanics, translates these requirements into the best possible solutions, mastering both traditional and newly developed technologies.

Within the aerospace industry we increasingly act as a co-developing and co-manufacturing partner. Programs we service and supply include Lockheed Martin's F-16 , C-130 Hercules, P3 Orion and F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, Boeing AH64 Apache, Embraer's ERJ 135/145 jetliner and NHI's NH-90 helicopter, for which we have designed and developed the complete landing gear and the intermediate gearbox. In 2006 we signed a cooperation agreement with Goodrich Company for further development of load carrying composites in future landing gears
